Additional 3D Work
From environment modeling & texturing, lighting & compositing to cloth simulation and other technical workflows, my experience across the 3D pipeline helps me understand how different departments work together and how the decisions made in one stage can affect the rest of the production.
3D Environments
I’ve worked on modeling, texturing, layout and set dressing for both animated productions and personal projects. I enjoy building environments with attention to their architecture, materials and small details, while keeping in mind how each space will be used within a scene.
The case studies below show my role, workflow and technical decisions.

Kitchen Environment — Ramen for Two
For the animated short film Ramen for Two, I worked on the kitchen environment, including modeling, texturing, layout and set dressing. I was also the Modeling Lead, supervising the environment assets and making sure they followed the project’s technical requirements and stylized art direction.
Japanese Restaurant — 3D Environment
A personal project inspired by my interest in traditional Japanese architecture and interiors. I designed and modeled the restaurant, creating around 60 individual assets and organizing them for the final scene. I also worked on the layout, set dressing and presentation.
Lighting & Compositing
One of the things I enjoy most about lighting is how much it can change the way a scene feels, from creating atmosphere to guiding the viewer’s attention.
My experience includes master lighting, shot lighting, AOVs and compositing in Nuke, working on both animated short films and personal projects, with particular attention to colour, contrast and composition.

Lighting of Memories — Ramen for Two
For the animated short film Ramen for Two, I worked on master lighting, individual shots and compositing, helping develop the different lighting setups used throughout the film. The project combines two visual styles, one for the present and another for the characters’ memories, which was made with a watercolor look.

Girl in the Mirror — Collaborative Shot Study
A collaborative lighting and compositing project built around a character standing in front of a vanity mirror. The scene gave me the opportunity to work with warm lightbulbs and the contrast between the character and her reflection.

Zelda & Link — Forest Lighting Study
A personal lighting study inspired by The Legend of Zelda and the atmosphere of The Wild Robot. I worked with cool moonlight and warm lantern light to create a quiet moment between Zelda and Link, using the contrast to draw attention to the characters.

Ladybug & Cat Noir — Shot Recreation
A shot recreation inspired by Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie, focusing on matching the lighting, colours and overall appearance of the original reference.
CFX — Cloth Simulation
I’ve also worked on cloth simulation for animated productions, including garment preparation and simulation fixes in Houdini. This experience has helped me understand how clothing needs to be modeled and prepared for animation and simulation.

CFX Pipeline — Ramen for Two
I worked as CFX Co-Lead alongside Marta Castañé on the animated short film Ramen for Two. Together, we developed the cloth simulation workflow, tested different setups and prepared the garments for simulation in Houdini.

Marvelous Designer — Elsa Dress Study
A personal project where I worked on creating a garment from sewing patterns in Marvelous Designer, simulating the fabric and refining the final shapes and folds. I also worked on the presentation of the finished outfit.
